First Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-1000 arrives to Amsterdam

It was unique moment at Schiphol airport, as Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-1000 landed for first time. This is also first A350-1000 that has landed at Amsterdam. Cathay Pacific will use this aircraft, on its route to Amsterdam, as an replacement for Boeing 777-300ER. 

Cathay Pacific will fly this aircraft 5 times a week on this route. Airbus A350-100 was delivered to Cathay Pacific on 19th June 2018 and Amsterdam is one of the first destinations to see this brand new Airbus.

The cabin is more spacious giving passengers more leg and storage room. Passengers can also enjoy bigger screens for in flight entertainment. They can connect their tablet and smartphones to watch their own content. There is 46 business class seats in 1-2-1 configuration, 32 Premium Economy seats in 2-4-2 configuration and 256 Economy Class seat in 3-3-3 configuration.

By  2021, Cathay Pacific expect to have 48 A350s in their service.
